Guest guest
Cathy, My daughter has strep. The scd unfriendly doctor again...with very scd unfriendly antibiotic... We can't have the yogurt yet. I was considering trying some S.boulardii...but I'm wondering if this natural yeast would be difficult for a very sensitive gut ....would it be tolerated like yeast in bread?(bread yeast has been a problem in the past...Is it the same thing?) S. Boulardii is not related at all to the yeast used in bread. It is a non-colonizing beneficial yeast used to help populate the gut and battle chronic d and can be used in Clostridia cases. She just had a big set back...celiac harmed by gluten at school recently.. Does anyone know how long to take S.B. for? I have been taking it for a few months now and find it very beneficial Can you take S.B. at the same time you take your acidophilus capsule? Yes. Charlene Uc 8 years SCD 6 years Thanks Kindly, Cathy Daughter celiac/food intolerances scd since August 2006...
