Guest guest
First, have you gone to AA? Second, have you had any inpatient treatment? I recently achieved 20 years being clean and sober. My Chronic Pancreatitis is from pancreas divisum and complication from a surgery to remove a choledochal cyst from my abdomen. It comsumed my bilary tract. You have to stop drinking, period. Hopefully you can stop the progression of this disease along with the alcholism. You need help you can not do it on your own. Guest guest
Les, Hi and I'm glad you found this group. I'm also glad that you survived your hospital stay and are making an effort to get sober. I have been sober for 15 years and I have a strange feeling that all those heavy nights of drinking caught up with me and is part of the cause for my pancreatitis. I hope you continue to recover and have a safe holiday. Take care Kris in TN
