Guest guest
Hello , Although my case is not the same as yours (I have hereditary chronic pancreatitis, diagnosed in 2003), I just wanted to write to offer sympathy. I too suffered attacks every six months or so as a little girl and adolescent. They were pretty awful but I was fine in- between. Later in life my symptoms came much more frequently and I was ill much of the time by the time I was 36 or so. Of course, they know much more nowadays. However, I'm still here at 58 and feeling better than I did years ago although I don't yet know what the future holds. I just wanted to say not to lose hope. Hang on in there, despite the awful pains, because there are all sorts of possibilities to-day and the disease itself goes though different stages anyway. I hope for the best possible outcome of whatever procedures you opt for with your specialists. You are obviously with a very top doc when you consult Dr Sutherland! That must give you great hope! Take care and good luck, Fliss (UK)
