Some children have strong initial responses to probiotics. But, yes... it also

*could* be die-off. We have seen that introducing probiotics or yogurt often

triggers more die-off.

Can you please tell us which probiotic you are using? What bacterial strains?

Are you positive it is SCD legal?

You may need to start with a much smaller dose.

There are a number of legal, natural antifungals. Grapefruit Seed Extract is

one (start with a very low dose and rotate with other antifungals), Olive Leaf

Extract, Oil of Oregano. Make sure any of these are completely free of any

illegals.... and rotate. In other words, you need to use ONE of them...... for a

while (a few weeks?).... then take a break from it and use another antifungal,

so yeast won't become resistant.

Fresh carrot juice with fresh garlic pressed in is a very effective anti-fungal,

according to some of our veteran moms.

Give ALL antifungals apart from probiotics or yogurt.

my son has yeast overgrowth. he has been on pro-biotics for 3-

weeks. 2 days ago he starts running all the time laughing for no reason

and his anus is red and itchy. do you think it is a die-off??

I need to know also what home remady I can use to get rid of yeast.

I'm giving him acidophilus powder from Kirkman(SCD legal). So I can't

give him probiotics and antifungal at the time, when do you think I

should start wilh one of the antifungal.

Try charcoal tablets, can be bought at any drug store. this might help. when

he goes to the bathroom, it is going to be black, so don't get scared. this

is normal to remove the toxins...
