Once you are fully on the diet and have eliminated the last few

illegal items you should start with the intro for 2-3 days if

possible. The carrots should be well cooked in the chicken soup

(simmered for ~4 hours) and then pureed according to the recipe

directions in " Breaking the Vicious Cycle " (BTVC) p91. If your son's

bm's are still looser than try leaving out the carrots for a day or

two to see if there is a change. If no problem then after the

intro " seperately " try well cooked squash to see if he tolerates it.

Only try one new food every day or two - it will give you a better

idea if you tolerate it or not.

Part of the orange color may be from 1. not digesting the veggies

completely, 2. still having some illegals, or 3. not eating enough

variety of veggies (other colour like grren spinach, lettuce,

zucchini etc..

Also some of that gassiness may be die off. Once you are 100% on the

diet it will be easier to tell.
