Whipple procedure and pain management question

I put this question in my last email but I guess no one read it. If you can

help I would greatly appreciate it.

If you have had the whipple procedure, how far advanced was your pancreatitis

when you had it? How big was your cyst? I cannot have the endoscopic

procedures due to gastric bypass.

Also, should I keep a pain journal before I go to the pain management doc?

What questions should I ask them?

Elaine called yesterday and said they could get me in the end of March but

that Dr. Hawes could not help me due to the gastric bypass. He will do a

consult and see if I need to go to see the surgeons. Or just wait and watch and

see

how it progresses. I am so depressed about the whole situation!

Thanks for the info on the pain management. I never thought of keeping all

of that type of info! That was a big help!
