I love to go on rides... can't wait to burn up Great America At Seven Flags, I'm

taking PJ with me to hold my purse!! (he hehe)

New Milestone Yesterday

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to share a new milestone I had yesterday. We took our

kids (age 7 & 6) to the Texas State Fair. With my 38 lb. weight

loss, I was able to fit in the seat of an amusement ride with hubby

and the kids and enjoy it like the other " normal " folks. And, to top

it off, my new MGB stomach held up just fine even with all the spins

and ups & downs.

If any pre-ops are still trying to decide, go for it. Having the MGB

was the best thing I've done for myself in years. I'm so thankful

every day for the new chance at a " normal " life and to Dr. R for his

wonderful surgery. Just like the majority of post-ops, I've had no

complications. It's been a great journey so far, and I can't wait to

see what's ahead.

Hi Bern:

Boy, that must be a great feeling. You sound like you are doing

really well. I am feeling pretty good now. Went back to work 10/10.

Have lost 25 lbs and I am very happy with that. Just started on

soft

foods and everything is working good. Good luck to you. Talk to you
