Guest guest
Hi everyone. This is going to be short and sweet cause I just got out of the OR 28 hours ago!!! Trude andRikki, and SAndra Barre-Roller are all doing just fine. And so am I. I had the worst time it seems right after surgery. I asked Dr. R if he got the license plate number of the truck that ran me over!!! But a new day has dawned, and it found me feeling much better and walking along all the corridors, sometimes holding hands with Trude. Rikki came to see me, but all I could do was mumble, and say I love Ya Rikki, and then fell back to sleep!! Around midnight I was pretty sure I'd survive! Don't let anyone tell you this isn't real and serious. It is most definitely not the easy way out; just the right one. There was a woman at clinic who had had the MGB 3 months ago, stayed on liquids for 2 months, and is down 91 pounds!!! That won't be me, though! I'll go tofoods as I can. OK you sweethearts, everyone of you, I can hear a little bit of chicken broth calling me. Another hint for you: Jello is downright ornery if you try to eat it with a fork!!!! (We have no spoons in our suite, we will get some later! Love, Jude
