a member of the PAN list has reported an episode of seeing extremely bright light and head pain. I sort of recall that some RP listers reported something similar.

Would you post the message below and ask if the list members who have had similar episodes can tell us what their diagnosis was?

hit, with stomach pain. I thought maybe was a migrane, never have had one.

But the lights were insanely bright, even with my eyes closed and covered.

The Doc did a cat scan thinking I had an aneurysm rupture in my brain.. it

came back ok..

It could be a migraine but

I would advice an echocardiogram. I know when I was having these episodes my blood flow wasn't getting though the heart due to a tumor in my heart. I'm not saying she has this---but an echo could help dx what she is going through. Please send her my love.

I had a couple of those and its called an auramigraine. Not a really bad headache but the lights drive ya nuts...For me it went away and didn't do anything else about it...Take Care. Sue M
