Guest guest
OK, I have another question. My family has always bought food for my hubby for Christmas. This year I gave them a list of some SCD stuff. So far they bought the wrong Welch's grape juice (as per my last e-mail). The nuts they bought for me to make into nut butter were OK because they were raw in the shell. Now I just need to buy a nutcracker so I can crack them. Now to the question: My hubby also received 6 pounds of honey. I had suggested pure honey, but many of my family are financially challenged (as are we). The honey was a generic brand and it didn't say 'pure honey,' although nothing else was listed. (It did say U.S. Grade A honey, but I don't think this means much.) The only way to know for sure if he can use it is to write the company. Does anyone have a sample letter of what I should write? Other than whether it's been cut with corn syrup, is there anything else I need to ask them about? Also, the store where is was purchused went out of business, so I can't exchange them. If all else fails, I'll just use it up since I'm not on SCD. Thanks for any help, Sharon in Ohio wife of Adam -Crohn's 2004, SCD since June 2006
