My son got his band at 5 1/2 months and only the first night was hard for him. He woke up about every 2 hours that first night. After that, though, he was back to normal. Interestingly, when he got his helmet off he did the same thing...awake just about every two hours that first night without it. He was aware something was different when he got it and when he graduated. Hope your little one adjusts quickly, too!

My 4 month old son has had his band for 2 weeks and have had the worst sleep

since he was a newborn. Just previous to it he was sleeping 6-8 hours, which was

great because he is breastfed. He is napping ok now. My mom thinks he is having

attachment issues to me and it is not a problem with the band any longer. All I

know is I am tired and I hope your little one sleeps well soon. Best of luck.

> My 5 month old got a DOC band today. I recently started sleep training him at

night and for naps. He hasn't napped well today, but I don't know if that's

just coincidence with getting the band. Has anyone's baby had a tough time

sleeping when they first wore the band?
