Guest guest
Becki, Good luck with the exercise stress test! I hope it all goes ok. I am so sorry about your home being broken into. What a terrible feeling. I am so glad that your baby, Holly was so protective of you. That'll show the in laws! I hope that they didn't get too much of your stuff. If they did, maybe someone here can help? Is all your medical equipment safe? mom of 5 with CF and one on the way Update on Becky Hey Everyone, I had a so so day at rehab.I am really hurting. Tomarrow I have to do an Exercise Stress Test (required by the Program) and the PT's are going to look at my feet and me during floor exercises. Because of the damage to my hips, I am extremely Duck toeed (my toes point outward especially my right leg). After paying attention to how hard simple exercises were they realized something is very wrong. I should have been fitted with a brace years ago but unfortunately, there is little we can do. We'll see though tomarrow. We also got like 6 or 7 new people today in rehab...they had a bunch of people move to the area this week. ALl unbder the age of 35.Plus several came out of the hospital for the first time Post-Tx. Anyways, if anyone knows anyone who may be able to help fundraising with the Transplant let me know. I have a letter about myself that I did and a Tribute Page that the NTAF has done up to make writing a check or using a credit card easy. Just let me know if you are intersested. If you can't don't worry about it...=) Last thing, someone broke into my house yesterday. I slept through the whole thing. My dog went nuts about 1am and I couldn't figure out what was her deal. She is pretty stupid so I thought maybe she heard the wind blow or something, which on my part was stupid. She normally NEVER barks and NEVER growls. When brad came home last night at 2am, the front door was WIDE open. Hollly wouldn't leave my side and growled and growled. Something told me in the back of my mind, do not go downstairs. My husbands family uses every chance they can to tell us to get rid of our baby, our 90 lbs Rottweiller. She is the sweetest thing in the world. The neighborhood kids come knocking on our door to see if she can come out and play. I kid you not. So we wondered if she would protect us if smething happpened our love the intruder to death. Its scary though, if I didn't have her what would have happened? SO Brad used this as a way to tell his mom a plus to having her. Then again his family wants us to sell our car and our possestions to move into a one bedroom apt that costs more that what we pay for our house so we'd be in a upper class neighborhood. Stupidity....they mean well though. Becki Listed for Lungs 1/14/04 at Mayo Clinic ville,Fla.
