I graduated from nursing school there and was an full time employee for years up until recently. I know the physicians in the Digestive Disease CEnter very very well as well as the surgeon who performs the majority of pancreatic surgeries. I worked with the DDC for several years then worked with the OR's again for several years. These physicians are not only my co-workers and friends, but are also my physicians and caregivers. I have had 3 ercp, countless scopes, cat scans and mrcps; as well as a tranduodenal sphincteroplasty and a Beger procedure which is a partial pancreatic resection of the head. I will be traveling to OH soon to have a total pancreaectomy with autologous islet cell transplant. I have recieved nothing but excellent treatment at MUSC and if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Warmly
