Guest guest
Hi Kris, So sorry to hear you have the same problems I do. It took nearly as long for you to find out what was going on too. I wanted to let you know that I am in Tennessee as well.......hmmmm maybe we need to recruit some real doctors here!! As I said in my earlier post, I had to go to the Mayo Clinic in ville to finally get answers. I am not on any pain meds at this time although after a really bad attack this morning, I wish I had a pain pill. Anyway this attack has left me at home today, calling in to work sick again. I don't even bother with going to the ER anymore. I just wait it out. Anyway, to my question for you. Who do you see now for management of CP and SOD?? I am more than willing to travel for a competent (and compassionate) physician. I have had too many bad experiences with physicians here........I think I saw 5 doctors in Memphis. One of the gastro's told me my pain was probably fibromyalgia and dumped me on a rheumatologist. Another told had me take a psychological test and gave me antidepressants!! I had begun to think it may be in my all in my head too after all those bad experiences! Now that I have a real diagnosis of SOD and CP, I am ready to fight the battle. I just don't know what physician will fight the battle with me. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Zoie
