Guest guest
I am so sorry for what you are going through! I just had an upper GI with small bowl test. It took 8 hours but it did show that I have adhesions in the small bowel. Since it supposedly has nothing to do with my Whipple, the surgeon ignored it but told me to talk to my PCP. He feels it came from a very pernicious case of endometriosis 20 years ago. The test did show that things are not round like they are supposed to be. Parts of the intestine are stretched flat. The pain at any strain sure does sound familiar. This answer sounds too simple but perhaps the simple is being ignored by the medical folks in your life. Good luck to you.
