Their time to get evaluated is different, the wait is much shorter and their waiting list works different than the one in the U.S. Joanne > Does living in Canada change anything? Guest guest Posted January 7, 2004 Report Share Posted January 7, 2004 I think I am lucky to be here, yes. And I LOVE the states, so don't take this the wrong way. But I think Toronto is key for CF. It's where the gene was found, and continuously it's where new research comes through. I am originally from Poland, so I appreciate this country so much. My family in Poland say that the CF world in Poland is in shambles, no money, no care. Kids die so young.
