Guest guest
After a tough.first run at the helmet in march (serious infection on my babies bald spot on the back of her head), I am happy to report that our first week in Helmet Part II has been a dream. Josie's personality hasn't changed a bit...her skin looks great...she is sleeping through the night and taking great naps....and, after our first trip to CT for follow up yesterday we can already feel some " filling in " on the back of her head. Josie is 9 months. We have a whole summer a head but I am very positive. My husband and I struggled with whether or not to helmet her again after the traumatizing infection. We concluded that if we didn't try and her head was an issue growing up we would regret it. We also got the green light from a pediatric derma specialist. I just write this to encourage parents who are anticipating the helmet. Josie has moderate brachy and minor plagio. We are hopeful for some improvement, not a perfect head. We will only do one helmet. Thanks for letting me share my experience so far.
