My son just received a precription for inhaled

Tobramycin. Should I use a disposable micromist one

or the reusable Pari?

One thing I learned when we started Tobi was that you cannot use the

same nebulizer for Tobi and pulmozyme. Meaning, you can't reuse it

for both meds.

Tobi is approved for use in the Pari cup only (according to what I have been

told, anyway)

Hi Sharon,

I have been told to use the disposable Micromist nebuliser as the Tobramycin

actually starts to break down the plastic after you use it for longer than a

month. I live in Australia though so it could be different, I would check with

the doctor to make sure though.
