Well everything went well again. We will find out his culture results

by the end of the week. After about two weeks of being sick we are

happy to see that he is doing much better so the Dr.s had nothing to

complain about. weighs just over 33 lbs and is 3 and 1/2

feet tall. Now his CF doc says that since he is staying on his curve

of 25%for weight and 50% for height then he isn't concerned. But the

nutritionist is throwing a temper tantrum and his saying that

is borderline a nutritional failure. So our doctor is going

to D.C. next week to take what he knows about and talk to

the foundation and see what they say. As far as we are concerned he

is like his parents and a lean kid. He heats so-so but he takes in

enough to suffice and keep his weight from slipping.

Hey , It sounds to me like he is doing really well. Who at the CFF

office would have a clue any more than your own dietician .There is only

one doc at CFF & he is Dr . But , it seems even your doctor

would know more about the weight thing,....since he knows the patient &

hasn't lost..GEESE------------

OH well.. Bless you all & stay as well as you are

Love & hugs, grandmoMBEV

Your son sounds just like mine. He'll be 4 in March and he weighs

about 32 lbs. and is about 40 " tall. (His dad is 6'3 " and weighs

about 160. String bean.) Like father like son, I think. JC appears

to be pancreatic sufficient (normal bowels, etc.) Our clinic watched

him very carefully for a while and finally conceded he just takes

after dad.
