If you have pancreatitis, does that mean daily pain? I was recently

diagnoses and when I was admitted to the hospital they had me on

pain killers and an IV. In the past 3-4 months I have been in the

hospital a few times with sever stomach pain. Anyway, I don't have

pain all the time. To be honest I had it frequently before, but now

that I have quit drinking I don't get it too much and it is not too

bad. I mean, I still go to work and am able to do more

than " function " . Is it progressive or does it level off about the

point that one stops hurting themself? (i.e., if you quit drinking,

does it still get worse over time?)
