Guest guest
You can go to message 47957 in this group to read my post from last month which describes my experience. It's rather long and I'd hate to repost and take up space . The things that have changed since that post is that I have recently undergone an upper GI and have been diagnosed with severe reflux. I also have a " deep gastric fold " at the junction of the the intestine and stomach. I'm not sure what that means but I will find out . My PCP has increased my dose of Prevacid and Carafate to see if that will control the vomiting. My hair continues to fall out and my energy level is still not up to par. My diet is still limited but I have lost 4 more pounds since that post. To the other Beth who posted I want you to know that you are soooo right in your assesment of what it feels like to be in that 3%. I'm sure it's no where near as painful as losing a child but it is sometimes difficult. Thank you for your kind words. As for the " other " list and the suggestion that I should have started it ... all I can say is I haven't got THAT much energy ... lol. There is some good information to be found there if you're still researching in spite of the strong personalities that exert themselves (sometimes without poise or eloquence). Once again, I do not agree with her tactics but I support her right to express herself.
