zucchini-pear sauce

chicken soup (i like to make it with squash and kale) - travels well

in a thermos

chicken chunks

squash french fries (oven baked) - recipe at pecanbread.com

How about the famous " squash buttons " ? You might have to search the archives

for the recipe.... I don't think it's posted on the website.

Early stage snacks?

Can someone give me snack ideas for the early stages? We are starting over--so

no nuts

or nut butters and my son can't tolerate honey or apples or too many medium

sals (like

bananas or avocados).

My ideas:

* pear sauce

* hard boiled eggs

* steamed carrots

* chunks of cheese

Can you think of anything else?--I'm afraid this will get old pretty quickly.

This is a tall order! ;-) I appreciate your suggestions! THANKS!

Gelatin squares - made with pineapple juice or Knudsen's Just

Pomegranite juice (sweeten with Pineapple). Cut them with cookie

cutters for interesting shapes if they won't try them at first.

Deviled Eggs (not that my kids will touch them).

Baked Pears are good - peel, slice and de-seed. Put in baking dish,

sprinkle with cinnamon and a little butter (maybe a splash of

pineapple juice), bake for 30 mins at 350F. Since they're left in

whole slices the texture is different from pearsauce.

If you make the Nut free dairy free bread, you can make grilled

cheese sandwiches, egg salad sandwiches, french toast etc...

The recipe for the Nut free dairy free bread is at
