Guest guest
Adam - (Great name by the way - it is my oldest son's name and he is 26) I have pancreas divisum and am in the " early " stages of CP. I have 3 or 4 acute attacks every year which require hospitalizations of 3 - 7 days with IV fluids and pain meds - morphine and diluidid. I take the sandostatin LAR shot once a month. I believe it helps as last year was the first year in five years that I ended the year at work with sick days left over - I get 14 daysa and I had six left! I also take Creon 10. I take 2 pills a meal which is 20,000. I don't really notice much difference, but I guess as long as I am asymptomatic, they must be working.
