It's a curse !! I swear it is!!-

Hi ,

I am doing much better than last friday. I'm also glad to read that

I'm not alone too with the (curse) thing. LOL It just seems wierd

that I was just talking with Dr. Lehman and said that the minimal

amount of pain meds were working pretty good and I only get some

mild breakthrough pain, on a daily basis. Yesterday was different

and I had to take 3 pain pills (50mg. demerol each). I think that

that is pretty minimal, am I wrong?? I usually take 2 on a good day

and 3-4 on a bad day. Dr. Lehman feels that since that current

regimen is working for me then I can wait till things get worse and

then discuss surgery options. I feel kind of " lucky " since I only

have to take between 100mg and 200mg of demerol per day and I can

function pretty close to normal. (taking care of the kids,

household, soccer games, etc..). How have you been doing lately?

Has your pancreas been behaving itself?
