Guest guest
Hey all...sorry I haven't been around much lately..I have been having a tough time of it...Have been dealing with the anxiety issues and my pancreas has reared its ugly head and I have been just hanging out in bed. I think I know what has caused my panc to trip out...My 16 year old daughter has been sneaking out of the house here of late and is doing poorly in school. She has never even gotten a B on a report card (only A's) but last week I received a call from her English teacher that she was getting an F so far in the class. Then she snuck out two days in a row and didn't get home on Sunday morning until noon. It has been really hard on my wife and myself. We had a tough time with our oldest (daughter also) but have since built a great relationship with her now that she is on her own. I know we will get thru this also..then there will just be our youngest to make it thru(another girl argh..lol). I spent all day on Sunday speaking with my daughter and found out all sorts of bad things that she had done during the summer...doing drugs etc...She is clean and sober now, we know because she submitted to a drug test(her idea) She said she hated herself during the summer and knew she needed to get off of the drugs and wanted to do it herself without any outside help. She says that she hasn't done anything since sept but says she is depressed...We have taken her to a Dr. and the Dr has set up an appt with a teen therapist. She has since turned in all of her assignments (verified by the teacher) and seems to be at least trying to communicate with us, which is a great thing and something that hasn't happened in about a year. So much for the thought that we are great parents...Anyway...My panc is hurting so I am off to bed. Please keep us in your prayers and I will do the same for you all. I hope this finds you and yours well Mark
