Hi,

Our son started the helmet at 6 months. He was already rolling by that time,

but he did start crawling, sitting and eventually walkingp with the helmet. I

have to say that we actually liked him wearing the helmet because there is soooo

much head bumping during the exploration of movement because they are learning

where they are in space. So it actually came in handy for a lot of head

protection. Eventually when the helmet was removed he did have to learn a little

about protecting his head, but that was learned pretty quickly. We did not

notice the helmet setting back any movement development as he began walking

fairly early at 10 months. He began crawling at 8 months. Hope this helps.
