Guest guest
my daughter's eczema is clear now and she is having solid BMs. i'd like to bring back her favorite fruit, blueberries. i tried cooking these and then straining them but all i got was juice. is it possible to make a pudding type thing with just cooked blueberries, but without the seeds and skin? thanks in advance silvia 2 year old with eczema, SCD 1 month
Guest guest
What I've done is use the cranberry sauce recipe from pecanbread.com with blueberries instead...putting them through a food mill first. It's in the holiday ideas section under Thanksgiving. The other thing you could do is just use the juice that you got from straining them to make jello according to the back of the Knox unflavored gelatin box. Meleah cooked blueberries my daughter's eczema is clear now and she is having solid BMs. i'd like to bring back her favorite fruit, blueberries. i tried cooking these and then straining them but all i got was juice. is it possible to make a pudding type thing with just cooked blueberries, but without the seeds and skin? thanks in advance silvia 2 year old with eczema, SCD 1 month
Guest guest
i don't have a food mill..would pureeing it in the food processor be OK? do i have to worry about the peel only or the seeds also? > What I've done is use the cranberry sauce recipe from > pecanbread.com with blueberries instead...putting them through a > food mill first. Guest guest
Seeds, too. You could puree it, and then strain it through a fine mesh strainer. That should work just the same.
