Guest guest
That is a stretch; that like saying my lap chole caused the ductal tortuosity that caused my pancreatitis, it just aggrivated the sod. Have you tried to find an insurance case manager. Getting a lawyer to straighten all this out may be necessary; but I would hate to see you loose your job over " insurance " . I dont know how old you are or how long you have vested in your current position. You do appear to enjoy it and do it well. A job like that is hard to find. Is there any chance of talking with somebody from your original ins co that can act as a liason, a case manager. Most insurance cos have them to help sort out complicated cases. Yours sounds complicated. Is there any chance that youcould get a second opinion from somebody outside your current circle of docs that can say without a doubt that your condition is THIS or THAT, boom no ifs ands or buts. Maybe the case manager can help set that up. Heres the thing about insurance co's they want your money and they dont want to pay any bills or claims. Its ruining health care, the health care we receive as well as the care we can offer. You are in a difficult situation and you are going to have to do something. You need to see a pancreatologist. I do believe if yu call your insurance carrier and request a case manager they have to assign one to your particular case. I'm not 100% on that but I do believe so. Give it a shot, what have you got to loose. Keep in touch with all your good advice and how things are going for you. Where do you live anyway?
