Welcome to the other side! Oh,I've been a nurse for 16 years,and would much

rather sit and talk with a patient than give a back rub,not that you get the

time to do either now! I'm glad to see the role of the nurse expand,I just

miss the time to get to knowe the patient. I do critical care transport

now,and it's about the only time in the patients entire hospitalization that

2 caregivers(Nurse and Medic) are with 1 patient.It's unbelievable the things

you discover about the patient and how it improves the quality of care!
