The ball is really rolling now

I went in to see my surgeon here today for all the pre op stuff I

will need for the tp/ict next month. I had to have several

immunizations 4 shots as my spleen will be removed as well, plus I

requested another octreotide injection (it really helps) then I had

4 viles of blood drawn and then called back to the blood letters for

another draw because one tube had clotted. Both of my arms are so

sore.

I received the instructions on where to go for the gtt the day

before surgery in Cinci; but I think I will need a map of the campus

to find it. Hope the driver of the shuttle knows where it it. So I

guess the ball is rolling now, no turning back. Everything is

booked and paid for. It will be hard to be away from my family for

so long, I'll miss Thanksgiving and our 20th wedding anniversary. I

just have to keep focusing on how much better things will be and

watching the weather so I'll know what to pack.

Wow; my arms really hurt. I hope ya'll are doing ok.
