Guest guest Posted January 29, 2004 Report Share Posted January 29, 2004 Val, I talked to my accountant today, and he says that in Tennessee, if SSI is the only income of the person then it is not taxable. Now, if the person has stocks or bonds, or any other source of income, then it becomes taxable. He also said that more than likely you will get a statement of benefits from the SS administration.
