Guest guest
Is he having it at Jewish? ERCP is the best way to find out what is going on with the Pancreas. I was diagnosed in March 2001 but gradually continued to have pain. That was when the dr did a sphinctorotomy with manometry. The pressure was real high and he cut and put a stent in to hold it open. I ended up in the hospital for almost a week due to complications. sometimes when you have an ERCP it will cause a Pancreatitis attack so you may want to take an overnight bag. Being scared is natural and Dr. and Dr. Kaikaus are very good. I am a secretary for a GYN Onc. doctor and I asked his opinion about Dr. and Kaikaus and he said that they are excellent doctors. He has been seeing Dr. Kaplan, who does not do this procedure. They ruled out many other things, and this is his first ERCP. We are nervous. > Are you sure that your husband doesn't have a consult first with Dr. ? Who has he been seeing prior to having this procedure? > > Patty D. >
