Guest guest
Hi everyone, We are travelling to Florida (from the UK) in June to visit disney world with our ASD son. If anyone has the time could they make some recommendations please. * What brands of foods that are scd are available in the supermarkets. * Are there any restaurants that could be recommended in the Disney area * Any other information re scd and Disney would be invaluable. Guest guest
Some friends with an ASD son have told me that Disney is very accommodating. You can get a special guest pass to not have to wait in lines for rides, show, ect. due to your child's condition. I believe there is something on their web site that you can find about that, or even call the Disney 800 number to inquire about that. You will probably need some sort of doctor's letter to get the pass. Also, she said that the Disney restaurants were very willing to make food for their son. You would just tell your server that you have a child with very severe food allergies that requires specially prepared foods. She said taht the chef came out to speak with them, and was very willing to help. He washed a pan for preparing her child's food. They just made sure to order things like plain meat, plain cooked veggies, ect.
