Just doesn't sound like it to me.. what you all think? << No, I've never had any pain in any of the other areas that you mention. And my ear has never gotten the slightest bit red, nor has it ever gotten swollen. So when you are in a flare can you squeeze any part of your ear and feel no pain? This is what baffles me. I can squeeze any part of my ear and have no pain. The outer part of the ear doesn't hurt to squeeze between two fingers, but to push on it, it hurts. Really weird, huh? I can lay on my ear when it hurts and that doesn't bother me at all. I remember one time it hurt so I layed down and rested for a little while and it went away. Then I got up and ate dinner and it hurt again. You asked me about the lobe. It looks the same as the rest of my ear. I just wonder if I could be in the early, early stages of rp. Have you ever heard of anyone who just has the ear pain and no redness or swelling? Did it develop into anything more? I have a very tender spot along on the upper jaw bone right in front of my ear.
