Hi my heart goes out to you and your kids on the loss of your pet it is so sad

to lose a family member(even the animal kind).On to the marriage I have been

with my hubby since 1979.I divorced him in 1990 as he had a lot of growing up to

do.I had 4 kids 7 and under to raise (I just couldn't take him being my biggest

kid).I remarried him a few years later. I am still a single parent who happens

to be married.I have learned I can't fix him and I can only be responsible for

my life not his.Marriage and parenthood are partnerships and as such need

respect from each other and support for each other.My hubby and I have had very

hard things happen in our life together and we still love each other but the

stresses have driven us apart.I think if you can make it with him then you can

make it without him.Maybe a temporary split will give each of you time to talk

and work out the feelings that you have.My heart goes out to you as I can
