Dr. R.

In all fairness, I did hand deliver my packet on the day I came to clinic. My

mom and fiance' were with you. I am sure you don't remember me personally, but

You sat and read over my entire packet during my personal visit. It was

completely typed up and my previous medical and current physical and everything

from my primary care was typed up too.

I understand YOU are extremely busy and an ANGEL to many. We are sorry, and

don't mean to rush you, we are just anxious. Personally I have waited since

1997 for this opportunity.

I have just worked so hard on getting the packet and all the info and dealing

with my insurance and etc. I am down to just ONE THING left. THEY won't issue

the PRECERT number UNLESS YOUR office calls them.

They wont take MY surgery date from me. THEY said THEY don't care if I do act

as your agent, they WON'T do it. I called yesterday and ask them again, the

status of that, and that ANTHONY person at BCBSNC said .... there is NO

DOCUMENTATION about anything in your file. He is sooooooooo....

He always ask every single time I call, WHAT TYPE OF SURGERY ARE YOU HAVING, I

WANTED TO SAY A BRAIN TRANSPLANT THIS LAST TIME. Then when I ask him why his

SUPERVISOR had personally called me last week and told me that I was approved,

and now he says there is nothing.... ??

He said, OH, I see, with DR. RUTLEDGE. I am just afraid if I don't get the

PRECERT number, ANTHONY will do away with it or something and make me start

over. I am patient and can wait, and I guess maybe I am just being anxious. My

surgery isn't until DEC. 1.

After my visit with Dr. R he told BARBARA to go ahead and schedule me for a

date. She said she only make it TENTATIVE until she got the letter from the

insurance. Well now the INSURANCE is trying. I am afraid after all these

years of waiting... it won't happen.

I have seen results of Dr. R and am well pleased and a good thing is worth

waiting for !!!

Remember haste makes waste! YES Dr. R, you are just like Loreal....... I'm

worth it!!

SO WHAT DO YOU THINK GUSY? DR. RUTLEDGE IS WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!!

My mom who is an RN was very IMPRESSED with his technic and HOW well HE DOES it!

How WELL he can work THOSE instruments. HE IS TRULY HISTORY IN THE MAKING FOR

THE OBESE POPULATION IN THE WORLD TODAY. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT ANYBODY ELSE,

BUT I WANT TO BE A PART OF THAT HISTORY....

JUST LIKE THIS ELECTION.... :)

Patiently

Hi,

Re: Reviewing your packets:

Lots of the packets that we receive could be done better, they often contain

unreadable faxes and hand written Dr's notes.

We are simply overwhelmed with new patients.

We purchased a new telephone system from GTE and it was overwhelmed and shut

down the first day we plugged it in.

Suggestions:

1) Please consider making your package readable and sending it in all at

once.

If your Dr scribbles an unreadable letter or history and Physical

consider asking to have it typed.

Take your time with your letter. It now has to be 10 pages.

No Big print and Big margins tricks.

2) Please don't call the office. Please consider using email instead.

3) If this waiting with lots of other patients is too stressful, consider a

different Dr with more openings and a more leisurely practice. Lots of

people do well after RNY/VBG etc.

4) Read More on the " Wacky World of "

http://www.google.com/search?q=linda+thompson+criminal+hate

5) If you want to know what your insurance company is doing consider calling

them and refusing to accept the " you have to call Dr Rutledge " answer.

We have three more Surgeons coming to learn the surgery and we have gotten

financial support for others to be trained.

I expect that if you could wait a year there will be lots of surgeons across

the country using this technique.

If you know of surgeon in your area that might want to come and learn the

Mini-Gastric Bypass technique have then contact us (By EMAIL Please).

and lastly:

6) The Christmas party looks like it will be a go!!!!
