Guest guest
Thanks for the input regarding enzymes. I have a couple of more questions. We are using the DPP-IV from Kirkman's. Does it hurt if I give my boys their enzymes before a meal and then they refuse to eat anything? Not often, but some days they do this. Also, I took banana out of their diet because they did not seem to digest it well. Today I wanted to try giving banana with a digestive enzyme. Is it okay to give enzymes with a fruit only snack? I am only giving them 1/2 capsule per snack/meal. Thanks, Dana and Garrett SCD 9 1/2 months Celiac, ASD, Speech and Motor Apraxia --------------------------------- Finding fabulous fares is fun. Guest guest
Yes, you can(and probably should) give enzymes even with a little snack. I don't because iel doesn't snack very often, and it is usually when we're in the car and I've forgotten to bring the enzyme with me. I think it would be a good idea to try the bannana with enzyme. If they seem to tolerate it, you could try in a couple of days without the enzyme just to see if it is completely tolerable for them now, or if the enzyme is what is helping them to tolerate it. Meleah What if I give enzyme and then child refuses to eat anything? Thanks for the input regarding enzymes. I have a couple of more questions. We are using the DPP-IV from Kirkman's.
