Hi all!!! Well, Piper went to clinic last Monday, and they repeated her throat

swab, and it was still clear of PA!!!!! This makes her second " clear " culture.

The only thing that grew was Staph, and she has had that since diagnosis.

She also was up a little on weight, about 300 grams. Her doc was pleased with

that.

Today I got a phone call from a girl that I went to high school with, and her

daughter is going to be tested for CF. She was wanting to talk to me and see if

maybe the docs were wrong. Bless her heart she is really grasping at straws,

hoping that it isn't CF, which I can't blame her, I would too. Anyway if you

all could send good thoughts and wishes her way, I would sure appreciate it.

Her daughter is 16 months old, both of her kids and both of mine are very close

in age. Her oldest is only 6 weeks older than my son, and her youngest is only

3 months younger than Piper.

So, all in all, I guess we are doing pretty good. I started therapy last week,

and my husband and I have agreed to go to counseling to try to work through our

problems. I am trying to be optimistic, but it is hard. I guess only time will

tell..........lol.

Well I hope that all is well with everyone here.

If I would read what I typed before I sent it, it would make more sense. I

meant that she had gained about 300 grams, she is now up to 10.8 kg.

Sorry, if that confused anyone besides me, lol.

Thanks !!! The funny thing is, I have no problem being strong for other

people, but when it comes time for me to be strong for me, I can't do

it..........is that normal?
