Guest guest
I feel strange writing this. I don't usually discuss my weight with anyone, much less post my feelings on the internet, but here goes. I have been fat everyday of my 42 years. I was even a fat baby. I too have tried all the diets, groups, even pills a couple of times. I loose weight, sometimes substantial amounts. I lost over 55 pounds once when I fell in love and quit eating. But here I am over 250 pounds and physically wasted. I have a friend who had mgb last summer and she looks and feels great. I started checking into for myself even before then. I have visited Dr. R's website and have been reading the patient's manual. I also have begun completing my info. But I'm stuck. I have been on so many " weight loss programs " , I don't have a clue when I did what and how much weight I lost. I only know that I gained it all back and then some. How precise and accurate does one need to be when filling in the form? Any suggestions? Thanks.
Guest guest
All I know is that I too, have been on so many diets and used so many meds trying to loose weight that I would have to have kept a journal to know exact dates... I guessed.... the best I could. Even though I didn't remember the precise date, I could remember what happened wrong with that particular diet or med. It worked in my situation, I hope it works in yours. Trudy/Indiana post op 11-3-00 339 day of surgery 325 today!! Interested and Investigating I feel strange writing this. Guest guest
Don't worry. It is impossible to remember all the diets we have been on. I am 30 years old and 285 lbs. I have been on almost every diet possible. This is the best decision I have made for myself. The goal is getting healthy and staying healthy. I told my " skinny " sister, what does it matter how the weight comes off as long as I get healthy. Realistically it wasn't ever going to happen without the surgery. On my packet I just basically guessed and I have been approved without any problem. Good luck, from Mich.
