Laurie,

Wow! 42 pounds in 7 weeks is great. Aren't you thrilled about your

improved health too? I'm really happy for you.

Best Wishes,

dear, please use lower case when you write. All capital letters is

the same as yelling on the net. To answer your question, jello is a clear

liquid and will probably be a staple for you after surgery. You do not have

to be on liquids pre-op though. It's OK to do that if you choose, but not

required.

Your food trays after surgery will be broth, juice and jello. Nothing else.

And pretty much you'll eat that way for 14 days, adding only yogurt for

protein. Good luck to you. I've been watching your progress from the first

time you posted. Just don't yell at us anymore, OK. :-) PhillyJude

Laurie, I see you are from Columbus. I am a possible PreOp from

Bellefontaine, OH, just northwest of you. You did a lot of research, uhn.

What did you find out? Thanks for being truthful about the lack of thrills

from the food, that's good information. I was wondering if anyone at OSU

does this surgery.
