Guest guest
Hi Jayne, Here's a web site that I meant to include for you in my previous email. It wraps to two lines, so be sure to copy and paste the entire line, because only the first line will likely show up as a hyperlink (blue). http://antimicrobial.entlink.net/Aao/aao882/me.get? web.websections.show & AAO882_634 I think you'll find the information very informative and helpful. It explains peaks and troughs, appropriate doses of IV antibiotics, warnings, and recommends how frequently your doctor should check peak and trough levels. Believe me, I really understand your current lack of faith in your doctor. And I don't blame you one bit for feeling like he didn't give you enough information or follow Lyn's care closely enough. I'm feeling just b****y enough today to say, " Sue the jerk for malpractice! " And I'm not a sue-happy person at all! Maybe my attitude will pass after the full moon this coming Friday. I can't wait for it to pass. My students are always wilder in the days just before a full moon, and today they drove me nuts. I'd explain something fifteen times in fifteen different ways, and I'd STILL have kids coming up to me saying, " What are we doing? " " I don't get it. " " Here, is this good enough? " (ARGHHHHHHHHHH!) Guest guest
Thanks for the link! And yes, a lawsuit is in the back of my mind, but I am not " sue-happy " either. I totally relate to the comment about the full moon and students! I work at school, and you can always tell when one is coming. People who don't work around so many kids say we are full of baloney, but it really is true. Jayne
