I went back to Dr.'s Website and re-read the procedure- I swear I thought

that the staple line created the division- I have written to Dr. R. For

clarification. I still think that the two are not physically separated- But,

What ever it is - I still want the MGB

The stomach is stapled, not incised, in the MGB. Easy to reverse should the

need arrive. Just thought I'd let ya' know. Of this fact I am certain.

LOL LOL

I did not mean to start a controversay - but I am relieved to know I am not

the only one who was a little confused on this issue. I just find it amazing

that you could slice a stomach off - staple it - suture both sides - do your

new intestional connection and close in 20 minutes - and then for the patient

to be up and dancing within a few hours is just wild.....

I will report what Dr. R. Says when he responds
