Guest guest
Hi friends!! What does it mean when the increase in pain is felt in the back part of the pancreas? I have lost weight this year, about 15 pounds, and increased my pain meds to 40mg. of Oxycotin (not much compared to many of you) .....but I have had this dreaded disease for over 20 years now & withtout the pain meds I would not be moving around! The pain in the back is sore to the touch, should I be concerned that the pancreas is just doing a burnout ( I had 90% fibrosis back in 1997) or is it something else? I see the internist Dec. 30th & have been in touch via email back & forth with my G.I. re the possibility of cancer, but would like to hear from some of you as to whether u have anything similar? Of course I am the one that has the severe cold feet & nose & well whole body, & also a dragging aching feeling in the thighs & lymph nodes throughout the total body. Of course I've had the Epstein-Barr virus for over 25 years too! The Oxy controls the pain pretty well....but then when it wears off I wonder if I dying? Any thoughts would be appreciated.....I know only the docs can diagnose, but all of you combined know more than they do!!! Thanking u in advance....Warm, warm wishes to all, love
