Hi there!

First let me say that the welcome Susie got from you guys is exactly

what I expected. She is so grateful. She wrote to me to tell me how

glad she is she was told about this group.

To answer your question about how I've been...it's complicated.

Physically, the usual good & bad times. My last hospitalizations was

about 3 weeks ago. I started on line schooling & that ended up

taking up most of my free time. One term I wrote 2 research papers &

9 essays! Tons of busywork!

I guess my oldest son is the biggest thing...he was arrested again &

was sentenced to 9 months in jail. Since I know the judge, & we

talked about what was best for my son, he gave him the choice of the

9 months or going to rehab for a year. My son chose rehab. His g-

parents bought him a plane ticket to go to rehab in San ,

Texas & he was to leave Nov 8. On Nov 1, I saw him on the news....he

had escaped from jail. Then a few days later they reported that he

had been caught after robbing some man. So along with everything

else, he has escape & assault with a deadly weapon felonies against

him. Then I found out from a girlfriend that he never even planned

on staying at rehab. He was going to run from there. This kid breaks

my heart... & he doesn't want the help so many people want to give

him. He will most likely have to go to the state Penn. He's only 20,

& you know how those prison's like " young meat. " The fact that he's

a gang member may be what keeps him safe if he ends up having to go

there.

I am taking next term off from school to try to get a grip on

everything that's been happening here. (My sis had a baby that had a

serious birth defect that required immediate surgery.) It's like the

hits just keep on coming. But I want to get back in touch with my

old friends here.
