Guest guest Posted December 12, 2006 Report Share Posted December 12, 2006 Our yogurt starter came in today. Can someone please tell me if it's suppose to be kept in the fridge or the freezer? I know it needs to be kept cold. Since K has the croup and is congested, I will wait until it passes to start the goat yogurt again. Also, can you use fresh goat milk to make your yogurt? I always thought it would be best but, now I'm wondering if the bacteria would be a bad thing for making yogurt. I am heating the milk to 185*.
