Liz, all of the statins did that to me. I have terribly high cholesterol and they can't give me anything. So diet is my med. LOL They say mine is hereditary. There are a lot of meds out there ( heart meds especially) that cause leg cramps.. Liz is right, please look up your meds to make sure it isn't that.

I had awful leg cramps for a long while, it turned out

to be caused by Lipitor which I took for high

chelesterol. I have now changed to Pravachol, and

have not had leg cramps since!! Of course excess

exercise can cause leg cramps.........

So if any of you are on Lipitor(and have cramps) talk

to your doc. Love Liz
