Guest guest
Hi guys, My son reacted v badly to legal cheese when we tried him on it (lots of mucous and pain). Do you think this means that he will not be able to take the home made yogurt? Also, can you make the yogurt into ice lollies? Thanks , Jacks dad (SCD 2 weeks)
Guest guest
, If your son has only been on SCD for two weeks, I would probably suggest waiting for a few more weeks at least, before trialing SCD yogurt... made with GOAT milk. When you do start it, you will begin with only 1/8th of a teaspoon.... and increase VERY gradually. You *can* freeze yogurt into popsicles.... but the beneficial bacteria will mostly be dead if you do. The yogurt will still be legal... and a nutritious food... but the bacteria won't have their full probiotic effect. Guest guest
peter, my daughter is fine with the yogurt, but not yet fine with cheese (even goat). we've been on the diet 9 weeks, and i hope to reintroduce cheese in about another month. silvia > , > > If your son has only been on SCD for two weeks, I would probably > suggest waiting for a few more weeks at least, before trialing SCD > yogurt... made with GOAT milk.
