Guest guest
Krystena, for starters, as it is beginning, even diabetes can often be well controlled by sensible eating; read that Capri Sun label! Real food, not contrived food is usually good, allowing for Caden's inability to metabolise many fats. This may yet require an endocrinologist working with his primary specialist. Hang in there; we are all with you, no matter how rough the ride! Love to you and the boys, n Rojas pancreatic insufficiency & diabetes Hello again.. This is a follow up on Caden's blood sugar. Thank you all for suggesting that his sugar was high! I am so depressed and in disbelief. Caden's blood sugar is 177 two hours after eating!!!!! He ate at 8M pretzels and a capri sun. Do any of your children have diabetes and pancreatic insufficiency? If so, did you see it coming? Or was they full blown diabetic before you knew? Any advise would be appreciated.
