Guest guest
, I had gestational diabetes with both of my children. I was borderline diabetic when I had my gastric bypass in 2002. I was 35. I am 38 now. I had my gallbladder out in 1995. I have had problems ever since then. I also had PCOS. Polycystic ovarian syndrome. I had a hysterectomy in October. My ob doc said I was showing signs of malnutrition from the pancreatitis when she did my hysterectomy. She said I had " delicate " tissues and I had a hard time healing. My gastric bypass was successful. I lost 120 pounds. I dodged the diabetes bullet but I have been hypoglocemic since my pancreatitis started. I like you worry about my children. They are 12 and 9. I don't ever want them to have to go through this. My nephew had already had problems. They tested him for cystic fibrosis and pancreatitis because of pain and breathing problems. They weren't positive the tests were inconclusive. He is 9. My brother has similar problems but has not been diagnosed with CP as of yet. However, he drinks so they assumed his was coming from alcohol. I don't drink and I have it so it may be heriditary. Who knows? I too feel that how we deal with it shows others more about me. I want my children to see me as someone they can look up to. With God's strength I have gotten this far!! Thanks! And oh yeah! The weather is beautiful!!!
