Need advise about an enlarged liver

About a month ago I was diagnosed with an enlarged liver while I was

in the hospital for an attack of cp. I know I have been on pain meds

for 25yrs. for the cp. I knew the meds could cause liver damage and I

was wondering why the doctors didn't do a liver biopsy of if I should

ask my doctor if I need one. It seems a little strange that my doctor

hasn't mentioned the problem to me since then. Any thoughts or

information on this?
